IEK Malaysia-Singapore Industrial Tour

A group of 20 engineers travelled to Malaysia and Singapore on a 10-Day industrial tour organized by the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).This was the inaugural educational visit to the South-East Asian countries.

The immersive tour is one of IEK’s experiential learning opportunities aimed at exposing Engineers to advanced technologies and global best practices. Insights on the visit will be captured in upcoming IEK Newsletters. Look out for future visits!

The Engineers, led by 2nd VP Eng. Otieno Ogallo representing the President, Eng. Harrison Keter, also took the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit at the Kenyan High Commission in Malaysia.

Likewise, a courtesy call was made to the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) based at IES Headquarters. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation with IEK for capacity building in emerging and innovative technologies.
