Eng. Owen Munene is an Electrical engineer with over 20years extensive experience in power systems.  He holds a BSc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi. Eng. Owen is a professional Engineer of the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and Corporate Member the Institute of Engineers of Kenya

He is currently serves as the Chief Engineer, Technical Services at the Kenya Power and Lighting Company – Western Region   He has a proven track record of leading and commissioning major oil and gas projects.

Eng. Owen is a professional Engineer of the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)   and Corporate Member the Institute of Engineers of Kenya.

Beyond his professional achievements, Eng. Owen is committed to advancing power systems technology to contribute to intellectual and economic development of the society.

In his leisure time, he enjoys playing scrabble.
