Future Leaders Committee embarks on Karura Forest Hike

Future Leaders Committee of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) recently hosted an invigorating hike at Karura Forest, bringing together students in engineering and industry professionals for a day of adventure and professional networking.

Led by Eng. Collins Changole (Vice Chair, Future Leaders and Chair, South Rift Branch) and Future Leaders Committee Members: Eng. Yvonne Roberts, Eng. John Karanja, and Clifford Nyambetha, the event provided a perfect opportunity for engineers to connect in a relaxed, natural setting.

Participants gathered at Gate A before setting off on a scenic trek through the lush greenery of Karura Forest. Beyond the hike, the event fostered mentorship and knowledge-sharing, strengthening bonds among engineers at different career stages. The camaraderie and shared experiences made it a memorable outing.
