Information to Members
From time to time, we receive information from other institutions around the world about conferences and seminars for our members to participate in. We also hold cocktail lectures, industrial visits, and training seminars. Information about these events is communicated to members for their participation.
Web Listing
The IEK has now re-launched its website www.iekenya.org. Members can subscribe to be listed or have their company profiles included on the website pages. For more details, please contact the IEK Secretariat.
Training Seminars
The Institution holds regular training seminars for the professional development of members and to prepare candidates for professional interviews. These interviews are held for the admission of members to the Institution or registration by the Engineers' Registration Board. Organizations without a training scheme for engineers are encouraged to take full advantage of these seminars.
Arbitration
The Institution may be called upon to nominate arbitrators in case of disputes in the implementation of projects. We have experienced engineers to handle arbitration matters.
Technical Audit of Projects
If a client is not satisfied with the progress of a project, the Institution can be called upon to evaluate the progress, identify problems affecting the project, and recommend remedial measures.
