IEK Strengthens Regional Engineering Ties at GhIE 2025 Conference in Accra

Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) officially opened its 2025 Engineering Conference and AGM in Accra, Ghana.

The event attracted engineering practitioners from Ghana, across Africa, and representatives from the World Federation of Engineering Organizations. This year's conference is centered on the theme: "Urbanization and Smart Cities: Engineering the Future of Ghanaian Cities."

The Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) was represented by its President, Eng. Shammah Kiteme, alongside Eng. Patrick Otuoma, IEK Council Member and Chair of IEK North Rift Branch, and Eng. Florah Kamanja, IEK Council Member and Chair of the Governance & Controls Committee.
